Music for the Weekend: Celebration by Julia Holter.

Been a long, exhausting week. Following Comic-Con I’ve had to prepare a ton of material for the sales of Lilith, including contracts, cutting a new trailer, and designing promotional material. It’s all been quite overwhelming, and during this process I now understand the importance of having an assistant. Not the fetching coffee or walking my dog kind of assistant, but rather in the running to the post office or burning DVDs variety. Organization is the key to efficiency, and when one is juggling as many balls in the air as I am with Lilith, it would be nice to have an extra set of hands.

But for now it’s just me, my wife and two cats. That’s my amazing film studio. In these long hours its been nice having their company and support.

Everyone needs a super high-tech office, right?

This song fits the days perfectly - the leaves have all changed, the air is chilly and it’s all feeling kind of cheeky. Lots of prayers being had for us non-religious folks these days. When you cover all your bases to the best of your ability, a little faith is all you have left to turn to. Couldn’t hurt…

Have a great weekend!
